We’ve always wanted our wedding to feel like a celebration of us and of what we love.
From Janet at the piano, to Connor with his cameras, to a Chinese feast with the people who matter most, we’re so excited to celebrate with you here in our home.

From Janet at the piano, to Connor with his cameras, to a Chinese feast with the people who matter most, we’re so excited to celebrate with you here in our home.

Our wedding weekend begins with some lite bites and drinks in Brooklyn. The night will culminate with Janet at the piano, performing some of her favorite pieces today. Everyone is then free to go separately have dinner after, or join us for a drink near the venue.

Arrive wearing your best Formally Creative outfit for Connor's photoshoot and our ceremony. Bring your favorite camera, or be ready to use one of Connor's in the venue. Location to come soon!

Get ready for a feast of Sichuan dishes served family style in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Afterwards we'll see where the night takes us in NYC.

Get an Airbnb in a historic neighborhood, get a hotel near one of our Brooklyn venues, or find a great deal on TikTok if you’d rather spend your money on U.S. Open tickets.
That said, we’ve reserved a small hotel block at Coda Williamsburg, which sits directly above Saturday’s dinner venue. Easy night, shorter walk home.
Formally Creative. Start with a polished formal look, then add the details that makes the look truly yours... a dash of color, your favorite accessory, or perhaps even a film camera or some hair clips ;)
Note: September in New York can be hot during the day and cool by evening. So please plan your layers accordingly!
Because of the weekend’s activities and our limited capacity, this is an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll enjoy a night off, and we hope to see your little ones another time soon after.
We’ll ask about dietary needs on the RSVP form. If you have serious allergies or restrictions not captured there, please reach out directly at yebrownell@gmail.com.
Only if they’re shot on film. Haha, joking, not really, maybe. But we do hope you choose to live in the moment most of the weekend. Connor will be with his beloved cameras, and we have an amazing photographer joining us during Saturday’s ceremony.
Paperless Post! Check your email for the invite, and please RSVP by July 31st at the latest.
Plus-ones are noted on your Paperless Post invitation. If you’re unsure whether yours includes one, feel free to reach out to Connor or Janet directly.
Truly, your presence is more than enough. If you want to make a contribution, we’ve kept it quite simple: a honeymoon fund, an espresso machine fund, or the ability to buy us some film.

Please RSVP via Paperless Post by July 31st. Any questions not answered here? Reach us at yebrownell@gmail.com
